Juneteenth in Bismarck

Yesterday (06/19/2024) we attended Bismarck’s Juneteenth celebration at Shelter 1, Sibley Park. Some brief notes on that here, along with some digitized (how else would I put this information online?) items of the educational exhibits at the event.

The Bismarck City Commission provided an official proclamation for Juneteenth (below) read into the Bismarck City Commission official meeting minutes ahead of the event on June 11, 2024 (the city commission convenes every two weeks, so this was the week leading up to the event).
