Authority, Authenticity, Authorship

Do these three words have a relationship? I tend to think authenticity is something that is built and created, and is a perception that is felt rather than universally proven. The author of authenticity claims or asserts they are an authority: someone who authors, or writes, or asserts, “That was a truly authentic experience.” And this assertion usually results from the intersection of a full sensory experience. Smell, sight, taste, touch, sound. But again, what is authenticity? It’s tricky, elusive, and fleeting. But we know it when it hits us. It is there, and then it is gone. A take away? Enjoy it when it hits. It’s not gonna last long.
